Raul Andres Armenta is a graduate from Arizona State's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism with a passion for human-interest stories. Throughout his time at Cronkite, he's covered a wide range of stories—from post-game recaps and in-depth interviews with athletes and coaches to feature stories, profiles, and hard news reporting. 

Additionally, interning at the San Diego Union-Tribune provided an opportunity to cover hard news from different cultures across the San Diego-Tijuana border in a non-narrative format.

Whether it's capturing emotion from the field or highlighting empowering figures within a community, he strives to tell compelling, accurate and elevating stories.
